ACTOR Robson Green looks likely to be leaving his native North-East after putting his sprawling mansion on the market.
The 37-year-old actor is to sell his £495,000 house and ornate gardens in the picturesque Northumberland village of Thropton.
A representative from estate agent Sanderson Young said: "Robson has put the house on sale because it is now surplus to requirements."
Green made his name as a Geordie prankster in the hit TV series Soldier Soldier, before going on to star in Touching Evil and Close and True.
He split from first wife, Alison Ogilvie, with whom he shared the house, and is now involved with former Page Three girl Vanya Seagers.
Since then, Ms Ogilvie, an occupational therapist, has been living alone in the property. However, now that the couple's life together is over, the house - the last reminder of their relationship - is being sold.
The six-bedroom stone-built lodge had a huge reception hallway, spacious lounge, formal dining room and a sun room to take in the spectacular scenery. It has stylish oak units and an Aga in the kitchen. On the first floor, as well as bedrooms, there are games rooms and a reading area.
There are extensive gardens, and security cameras set up to monitor for unwelcome visitors.
