AN east Cleveland supermarket is on the look-out for young girls to be its Jubilee Queens.
Safeway in Redcar is running a competition to find three girls to be at the centre of its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The three age groups are five to seven-year-olds, seven to ten- year-olds and ten to 16-year-olds. All the winners will receive a make-over donated by Olan Mills.
Application forms are available in the store and must be in by Saturday June 1. Judging, by Safeway staff Diana Boyes and Alan Calcutt, will take place at the store at 1pm on Monday, June 3.
There is also a jubilee card competition for youngsters aged from five to seven and eight to 11 and a competition for three to seven-year-olds to design a crown fit for a queen. The winning card will be sent to the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
All children taking part in the celebrations will get a goody bag of treats.
