A festival will give photographers the chance to show off their talents by entering a competition.
This year's Orange Window on the World (Wow) Festival, taking place in North Shields over the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend, will include a contest to find the best pictures of Our Festival.
Photographers will be able to choose from a wide range of subjects, including headline acts Bob Geldof, Aswad and Jazz Jamaica All Stars, and Bootleg Beatles.
Alternatively, they could capture the Jubilee Picnic, involving fancy dress, talent shows and street theatre.
To help them prepare, festival photographer Stan Gamester will hold a workshop at 6pm today at The Saville Exchange, Howard Street, North Shields.
People of all ages are welcome, and those who do not own a camera can obtain a disposable one, free, on May 27, from the Orange shop in Northumberland Street, Newcastle, or the Orange stand on the festival site at 11am on June 1, 2 or 3.
Prizes in both the under and over 18 categories include Nikon digital cameras.
Entries should be sent to Orange Wow Photographic Competition, 7 Northumberland Square, North Shields, NE30 1QQ, and should include entrants' name, age (if under 18), address and contact number.
