A HUSBAND firebombed the car of his wife's former boss out of revenge, a court heard.
Emma Drury had been suspended as a cashier at the Shell petrol station in Guisborough, east Cleveland, while discrepancies were investigated, and was later sacked, Teesside Crown Court heard.
Steven Drury, 25, of Market Place, Guisborough, admitted arson on July 22, last year, after using a petrol bomb to set fire to Daniel Kelly's Vauxhall Astra, causing £500 damage.
In an interview, he told police: "Our lass suggested we go round and blow his car up."
Emma Drury, 22, of the same address, admitted conspiring to commit criminal damage on the same date with her husband and his cousin, Paul Drury.
Paul Drury, 21, was previously sentenced to 100 hours community punishment and a two-year community rehabilitation order after admitting arson, said Peter Sabiston, prosecuting.
Yesterday, Steven Drury received the same sentence and his wife was sentenced to two years community rehabilitation and 60 hours community punishment.
