STUDENTS at Northallerton College have raised £730 to help sick youngster Rosie Henry, who suffers from a rare degenerative disorder.
The money came from a special dress day held at the college in March, where students paid £1 each to come to lessons in casual clothes.
The success has given a boost to four-year-old Rosie's parents, Richard and Diane, who are close to their target of raising £35,000 to build an extension for their daughter at their Romanby home. Mr Henry said: "We're very grateful. It's great that young people, many with exciting projects before them, find time to think about someone less fortunate than themselves.
