FOOTBALL, falconry and dog agility are all on the programme for Shildon Carnival at the weekend.
The carnival procession starts at 11.45am on Saturday from the Dabble Duck Industrial Estate, and finishes at Hackworth Park, where special events will take place all day.
The carnival will have a jubilee theme, with children and adults being able to play games from the 1950s, see a vintage car display, and watch a Punch and Judy show.
There will also be arena events, including the falconry and dog agility, bric-a-brac stalls, music and dance marquees, and kite-making workshops for children
