The Rail and Maritime Union at Arriva Trains Northern have announced they are to stage two more 24-hour strikes in the next few weeks.
Rail passengers have been plagued by rail strikes in recent months and bosses at Arriva have said that the strike will have an 'intolerable' affect on passengers.
Arriva has improved its original pay offer up to 4 percent but the union has refused to accept it saying they are 'incensed' with the revised offer.
The RMT union is angry that Arriva has given its drivers an 18 percent pay rise while only offering 4 percent to other staff.
As a result station and ticket staff will strike for 48-hours from 9pm on 29 May and conductors will stage two 24-hour strikes on 1st and 7th of June.
