of trophy wins this season by adding the League Cup to their haul. The County Cup Winners were in action against plucky Sunderland side Groves at Nissan on Sunday. Chester got an early shock when two quick goals from Crew saw the Sunderland side in front 2-0 at the interval - despite the fact that the Cestrians were the better side.
A half-time reshuffle paid dividends almost instantly for the Cestrians when David Tait blasted the ball home after an outstanding run and cross from full-back Craig Marley. Tait then turned provider with a superb ball in from the left that was met with a powerful finish by Ryan Drummond. Drummond then put Chester ahead before Tait scored firstly with a stunning 28 yard thunderbolt before chipping the goalkeeper on the run for his hat-trick. Midfielder Stuart Rand also weighed in with a superb strike as the Cestrians ran out 6-2 winners.

With 25 wins out of a possible 27 under their belt, the Cestrians, who have hit the net 130 times this term, have had an outstanding season.
