OLD crop wheat prices have fallen again, with very little new demand and a plentiful supply coming forward.
Estimates of end-of-season stocks have been increased in line with slow export business and, although we had a smaller harvest, we still have a surplus.
Oilseed rape prices have remained unchanged, although the sentiment at the moment on new crop is probably for a slight rise. This is, however, on the back of the weather in the US.
Thursday's prices

GrainCo, Tyne Dock. - Wheat: May £60; June £60; July £60. Barley: May £58; June £58; July £54. Oilseed rape: May £130; June £130; July £130
