YOUTH workers are taking to the road with the launch of a mobile youth shelter.
The shelter is designed to help people who do not take part in youth centre activities or who do not have access to such facilities.
Run by the Street Life Detached Youth Work Project, the shelter will be taken out to local communities, giving youngsters a warm, dry place to meet and take part in different activities. Users will also be able to obtain information on a range of issues including health, education, and leisure opportunities.
The launch will take place next Wednesday at the Risedale Youth and Community Centre, Catterick Garrison
