New Marske Harriers, A total of 23 Harriers took part in the Thirsk ten-mile road race on Sunday.
The winner of the race was international Dominic Bannister in a time of 50mins 12 secs.
First man home for the Harriers was Ian Elderwick 97th 67.48.

The girls competed at the first UK Athletics Young Athletes League held at the King George V Stadium Cleethorpes, the group had an excellent day considering only ten athletes made the long trip.

The following Tuesday evening a few athletes competed on home ground at the Stadium 2000 at the second fixture of the North Yorkshire and South Durham Track and Field. 1500m - under 13 girls: Abby Suffield 1, 5.33.7; Amy Bunning 6, 5.54.3; Natasha Heslop 7, 5.57.6. Under 17 girls - Natalie Owens 1, 5.06.6. Under 20 men - Paul Best 4, 4.25.6.
