JUST a year ago, Max the lovelorn wallaby was so desperate for company it kept on running away from its York home.
But now escape is the last thinking on Max's mind, as the father of several joeys.
Max now lives at Monk Park Farm, Bagby, near Thirsk, an open farm which is also home to llamas, alpacas, deer, donkeys and rabbits.
Farmer Mark Hebdon acquired three female wallabies to keep Max company after the move.
"He is now as happy as Larry and has quite a family," said Mr Hebdon.
