A book has been written about an old ship and work to restore it to its former glory on Teesside.
Professor Andrew Lambert, an authority on naval history at King's College, London, has studied the frigate Trincomalee, the oldest ship afloat in the UK.
Its £10.5m restoration was completed at Hartlepool last year and won an International Maritime Heritage Award.
The book - The Trincomalee, Last of Nelson's Frigates - was launched beside the ship at Hartlepool's Historic Quay this week by the author.
