DURHAM have drafted Middlesbrough captain Ritchie McRae into their back row for today's match against Northumberland at Darlington as Mowden Park's Darren McKinnon could not confirm his availability.
The match brings down the curtain on Durham's 125th anniversary and at a dinner in the clubhouse afterwards county president Bryan Dodds will present caps to two of the host club's players, Dan Miller and Del Lewis.
Blaydon's former Mowden Park hooker Tasi Tuhana received his cap after making his fifth county appearance against Middlesex, while Hartlepool Rovers centre Ian Drummond will also qualify for a cap if he comes off the bench today.
The Northumberland team includes Jonny Wilkinson's brother, Mark, a former Northern player who turned out at centre a few times for Mowden this season.
They have also selected Acklam's player-coach Shaun Cassidy, who has played for six North-East clubs, including Newcastle and Northern.
Blaydon lock Jason Oakes is the only player from either side selected for the English Counties squad to tour Chile.
