YOUNGSTERS got weaving at the weekend in learning the skills of a traditional craft.
Children aged eight to 14 years were taught the art of creating pictures in tapestry at a full-day workshop at Middlesbrough.
Expert Dot Seddon led the workshop providing the know-how, frames and materials to produce a basic woven tapestry. All she asked of her young pupils was time and patience.
The event took place at the Craft Centre, Middlesbrough, which is hosting a tapestry exhibition.
