A MOVE into a larger vehicle depot is set to lead to an improved service for a company.
Union Trucks, distributor of Scania heavy goods vehicles, has increased working space, technical equipment and a larger yard area on Thirsk industrial park, North Yorkshire.
Union Trucks, which also hopes to create more technician jobs, commissioned the 5,000sq ft extension after the success of its operation threatened to outgrow the premises, which have been its base since 1985.
The workshop extension, on land purchased from Severfield-Reeve Projects, has almost doubled the overall site area, providing additional external space for the servicing, display and sale of vehicles.
The extension includes three additional workshop bays.
