A Stanley man is dreaming of the green valleys of home after being stationed at Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands.
"Back home in Stanley is somewhat different to Stanley in the Falkland Islands. It is an unforgiving and bleak landscape from what I've seen here," said Damon Herring, 19, of the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers. Damon attended Stanley School of Technology before joining the army in 1999.
