The body of a walker was found on the Pennine Way at the weekend.
Three search and rescue teams were called out after the man in his 40s, from London, went missing as he walked between Dufton and Alston, in Cumbria, on Friday. His body was discovered on Saturday afternoon on the Pennine watershed at Green Fell, west of Cow Green reservoir. The Teesdale and Weardale Search and Rescue Team was called out to assist teams from Kirkby Stephen and Penrith.
