It has been revealed today that the examination board, Edexcell, has been involved in another exam paper blunder.
The exam board which was involved in a number of mix-ups last summer has confirmed that there was a problem with the printing of the government and politics AS Level paper.
The board has ensured that students will not be penalised for the mix-up where the number of MPs elected in 1997 and 2001 were reversed.
Edexcell has confirmed that a problem was spotted on the paper last month and an amendment was made and sent back to the printer in time to be issued to schools.
Yet somehow the erroneous paper ended up in front of students sitting the exam last Tuesday.
The exam board has launched an investigation but they are as yet unsure how many of the 600 schools sitting the exam have been affected.
