MAYOR of Redcar and Cleveland Eric Jackson will have his work cut out for him in Skinningrove on Tuesday.
Councillor Jackson is not only opening the newly refurbished Riverside Building but is also launching a jubilee jamboree.
The former village school, which has had £293,000 spent on it, is now open five days a week from 9am to 5pm and includes an IT suite, office space, community caf with Internet, a community room and creche.
Project co-ordinator Amanda Buck said: "Tuesday will be a very special day for the village. We are really proud of the new facility and we want to celebrate."
Events have been lined up for after the 11am ribbon-cutting ceremony with music from the New Orleans Jazz Band, fairground rides, bouncy castle and games
