WHILE wellies and hard hats are standard gear for building sites, the sight of a bricklayer in a wedding dress must have turned a few heads yesterday.
Michelle Sullivan, front-of-house manager at the Hall Garth Golf and Country Club Hotel, at Coatham Mundeville, near Darlington, was on site to lay the last brick on a hotel suite developed with weddings and social functions in mind.
Mrs Sullivan, who has been married for two months, put her wedding dress back on for the topping out ceremony.
Management were joined by representatives from developer Paddison Construction and interior designer Parker Liddell.
