YOUNG artists who took part in workshops with textile artist and papermaker Anne Johnson are showing their work to the public.
An exhibition called Out of Touch runs at the Bishop Auckland Discovery Centre, in the market place, until Saturday, June 8, and includes masks, bowls and vessels, as well as a giant cube made by year six pupils at Cockton Hill Junior School.
The display was commissioned by the Discovery Centre Volunteers and supported by Wear Valley District Council and the National Lottery Awards for All scheme.
The Discovery Centre is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free.
The exhibition can also be seen at the Castle Gallery, Witham Hall, Barnard Castle, from Thursday, June 13, to Wednesday, June 19; at Stanhope Community Centre on Thursday, June 20; and the Memorial Hall, Spennymoor Town Hall, on Monday, June 24.
