A CONCERT takes place next week to help raise funds for the North-East's first baby hospice.
As previously reported in The Northern Echo, the country's second baby hospice is to be set up in a former convent in Normanby, near Redcar.
The hospice, called Zoe's Place, is run by the charity Life and relies solely on donations.
As a result, Redcar Male Voice Choir is holding a fundraising concert at The Holy Name of Mary Parish Hall, in The Avenue in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough on Thursday June 6 at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £2, including refreshments, and are available by calling (01642) 865132. The event has been organised by the Union of Catholic Mothers.
