Hinderwell are still out in front in division one after they sent Staithes crashing to 25 all out in as many overs.
Paul Theaker returned the superb figures of five for 13 in 13 overs, six of them maidens and he received excellent support from Stuart Marsey who in seven overs including four maidens, picked up three wickets for a miserly four runs.
When Hinderwell made first use of the wicket their innings lasted 33 overs and produced a total of only 101 which in the event was 76 better than Staithes achieved. Andrew Spensley top scored with 29 and for Staithes Mark Allen returned an analysis of five for 14 in eight overs. Sayers claimed three wickets for 43 runs, giving support to Allen.
Loftus reached 176 without losing a wicket in defeating Skelton Castle. Pearson carried his bat for 70 and Sanderson remained unbeaten on 78 by the declaration was applied. Responding Skelton Castle fell well short of their target as Whitwell took five wickets for 32 runs.
Dormans defeated Jack Hatfields by five wickets reaching their modest target of 94 mainly as a result of the efforts of Knorr who finished undefeated on 39 out of a total of 94 for five. Batting first Jack Hatfields were all out for 93 as man of the match Knorr captured five wickets for 34 runs and Dale took three for 34.
Boosbeck made 208 all out but still lost at Norton, who won with seven wickets in tact. Hirst batted throughout the Norton reply ending with 64 not out and his opening partner Brookes contributed 37 before Pritchard added a very good half-century.
Batting first Boosbeck were indebted to Weatherhead for his 67 and to Richardson who had made 82 when he was run out. Hirst was the most productive of the Norton attack and he ended with the creditable figures of six for 62.
After totalling only 69 as Burdon returned the magnificent figures of eight for 14, Paragonians went down by seven wickets to The Merlin for whom Kirby made the game's top score of 33.
Normanby Parklands had 100 runs to spare at home to Ormesby Hall who were all out for 47. Walker took four for 12 and Watcham four for 25 for Parklands, who when they went into bat first posted 147 for nine. Ramzan top scored with 47 when he opened the innings and Leadbitter contributed 21 before he was run out. Peacock with five for 84 and Davies three for 54 shared the Ormesby Hall attack and the wickets.
In division two Ormesby Hall went into second position following their four wickets victory over Blacksmiths Arms. When the visitors batted first they were all out for 64 as Tony Roberts took a hat-trick in figures of five for 30 from 14 overs. Amona Quayyuam gave excellent support at the other end as he ended with four for 31 from 14.1 overs.
Although they needed only 65 runs for victory Ormesby Hall lost six wickets, four of them to Chris Prosser for 31 runs in 15 overs.
New Marske won by six wickets at Skelton Castle who were pegged to 195 for eight which included 42 by Johnson. Hailstone was the pick of the New Marske attack with figures of three for 28 but Lightwing, Magor, Hoggarth and Alderson all took wickets.
Responding New Marske reached their target losing four wickets when Yarker added 37 and Hailstone carried his bat for 23.
Brotton defeated Moorsholm by 63 runs. Opening batsman Ridley made a good 66 for Brotton whose innings ended on 147 for eight as Broughton claimed five wickets for 18 and Whitwell four for ten.
In reply Moorsholm were all out for 84 with Ward taking five for 44
