THE urban landscape of Northallerton was the focus of an exhibition of photographs by students.
More than 20 students from Northallerton College displayed photos and mixed media at the town's library.
The 16-year-olds explored issues such as pollution and social deprivation.
The work is part of their studies for an Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education - the equivalent of two A-levels.
Art teacher Janet Wass said: "The exercise is aimed at encouraging them to think beyond the bricks, stone and concrete to a wider view of the urban landscape."
