Darlington Borough Council has released a list of summer activities geared towards the great outdoors.
The countryside section of the council has issued two leaflets detailing activities ranging from guided walks to family bike rides.
There are also photography courses, tree warden training, nature conservation activities and even a bat box building course.
There is also an event arranged to celebrate National Badger Day on June 15.
The two leaflets called Town Guided Walks and Darlington and Darlington Countryside Summer Events, are available from selected outlets around the town or from the countryside section on (01325) 388637.
