DANCE fans have a chance to become disco divas in a bite-sized boogie byte session.
Stockton Borough Council's adult education service has teamed up with CHIPS video games stores, Stockton City Learning Centre and a tutor to give parents a chance to learn the latest craze - dance mats.
The mats are attached to either a Sony PlayStation games console or a computer and the user follows steps on screen by moving around the mat.
The free session will be held from 7.30pm to 9pm on Monday, June 10, at the City Learning Centre, Billingham Campus, Marsh House Avenue, Billingham.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
CHIPS has donated PlayStation consoles, games and mats for the session.
The City Learning Centre is one of only five in the Tees Valley. It is available to businesses for hire, the community for learning and for schools to improve standards.
The session, part of the Learning and Skills Council's Bite-Size campaign, is free, but places are limited so booking is advised.
