A CHURCH has been holding a double celebration over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Harrowgate Hill Methodist Church in Darlington is marking its own centenary and the Queen's golden jubilee with a flower festival, which ends tonight.
The church, on the corner of Lowson Street and Bowman Street, has hosted a concert by Two's Company and is holding a Queen's golden jubilee Street Party tonight at 7.30pm.
Mike Amos, columnist with The Northern Echo, opened the flower festival
