A MINISTER received a temporary promotion when he played the role of the Archbishop of Canterbury in a re-enactment of Queen Elizabeth's coronation.
The performance by nursery pupils at Rise Carr Primary School, Eldon Street, Darlington, starred the Reverend Graham Morgan, minister at Harrowgate Hill Methodist Church, in the key role.
The event, held in celebration of the Queen's golden jubilee, was organised by nursery staff members Alison Pearce and Elaine Armer. Nursery teacher Mrs Armer said: "There was a lovely atmosphere at the event and the children really enjoyed taking part."
