TWO villages linked up to hold a joint party to mark the Queen's golden jubilee.
People living in Whorlton and Westwick planned a packed timetable of events to be enjoyed by the communities.
Musical entertainment and a children's street party were held on Whorlton village green.
Carroll Trevor, clerk of Whorlton and Westwick Parish Council, said: "The event was organised by all the villagers. It was fabulous. Everybody made a magnificent effort to decorate the village with flags."
