A church said it with flowers as the nation celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee over the weekend.
The congregation has linked up with the local business community to contribute to a spectacular flower festival at St Mary's, in Thirsk, where exhibits reflect the life of the fifth British monarch to rule for more than 50 years.
Authentic uniforms loaned by museums add to one exhibit entitled All The Queen's Men, while others reflect her love of corgis, her influence around the world, happy memories of royal weddings and the role of the Commonwealth.
The displays have all been arranged professionally and it is hoped they will remain on show throughout the week as Thirsk enjoys other events linked to the Herriot Happenings festival, which closes next Sunday
