Darlington Scrabble Club is looking for new members.
The group meets every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in the town hall.
Two games are played every night and a fee of £1.50 is charged but the first night is free. Anyone aged over 15 can join.
Every year the club, which has been going for eight years, raises money for charity.
Past good causes include Darlington Samaritans, Children in Need and Darlington Town Mission.
This year's charity is Darlington Memorial Hospital's Save Our Sight appeal.
