THE nation may be celebrating the Queen's Golden Jubilee - but former Tory leader William Hague had a different rein on his mind at the weekend.
The Richmond MP was in Catterick Garrison with his wife, Ffion, on Saturday to open the Saddle Club, which will be primarily for military use, and Equine World, for use by civilians.
The Army Central Fund has covered the cost of the £200,000 indoor riding school, although it is hoped that future running costs will be met by partnerships between the services and the non-military riders who share the facilities
