In the top of the table clash in the First Division, the visiting Crook Belle Vue edged one point away from the leading Crook Mill House after they won the deciding doubles.
The Mill had singles points from Norman Slack, John Winning and Eddie Ryan, whilst the Club levelled with wins from Ivor Phillipson, Roy Hoggarth and George Pakes. In the doubles the Club went to victory when John Warriner and Roy Hoggarth beat the Bibby brothers, Alan and Ian.
This result leaves the Mill House one point clear of Crook Belle Vue at the top of the First Division with Crook Olde Horse Shoe A one more point adrift. In the Second Division Crook Jelly's Bar A lead by three points from Willington Market, who are three ahead of Crook White Swan.
Crook Jelly's Bar A visited Crook Coach and Horses B and had singles wins from Ray Hall, Michael Jewitt and Keith Dixon only to see Andrew Reynolds, Gary Redmond and Peter Parker equalise. In the decider, Jelly's Bar A pair, Stephen Russ and Keith Dixon beat Peter Parker and Mark Dixon.
