THE League has taken the unprecedented step of publishing an exclusive end-of-season magazine to mark the end of the 2001-2002 campaign.
The 20-page programme - which is packed with cup reports, reviews and tables - is believed to be the first of its kind produced by a Sunday morning league and it will be available to members at the League's AGM on Wednesday. June 12.
"We believe it is the first of its kind," said League Secretary Mike Clarke. "There can't be many local leagues that produce a magazine at the end of a season. We are delighted with the final product and we hope our members enjoy it."
The magazine (right), produced by the League's Press Officer Martin Walker, will at first be sold to club members as part of a special package, then it will go on general sale.
Also in the programme are: The Secretary's Message, Player of the Year for both divisions and individual club round-ups, including Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer for each club.
Meanwhile, the League's presentation night will be held at Newton Aycliffe WMC tonight.
