Mainsforth lifted themselves into third place in the First Division with a two points win over the visiting Shotton, thanks to a superior shots score after the teams took two rinks each. Leeholme went back to the top after they beat the visiting Crook Glenholme, who slipped to second place, five points adrift after their heavy defeat, whilst Mainsforth are three points behind Glenholme but have a match in hand.
Mainsforth beat Shotton by 83 shots to 67.

King George V pulled off a great home victory and pushed the visiting league leaders, Spennymoor A down to third place after they went down by four points. The home side won by 54 shots to 49.
