A 16-YEAR-old boy has been arrested after a stolen Jaguar smashed into the side of a house.
The green S-type Jaguar caused extensive damage when it crashed into the property on the Wynyard Estate, in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, terrifying resident Susan Baron, her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend, who were asleep upstairs.
Following the incident, early on Wednesday, a youth was arrested on suspicion of burglary and aggravated vehicle taking.
He was interviewed at Durham City Police Station before being released on police bail pending further inquiries, yesterday. He is due to answer his bail in mid-July.
