A 20-year-old man was arrested for drugs supply offences while prohibited weapons were recovered from his home address in a Dealer a Day campaign raid carried out by Cleveland Police in Middlesbrough.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of theft during raids on six addresses.
Sporting help: Volunteer sports coaches and support workers who have given their time freely in the Stockton area for more than 20 years, are to receive a civic thank you. Mayor of Stockton Councillor Jean O'Donnell is to present the volunteers with framed certificates.
Witness PLEA: Police are appealing for independent witnesses to an alleged assault on a 42-year-old woman in The Broadway, Grangetown, on Saturday evening. A 15-year-old girl was arrested and released on police bail, pending further inquiries. Witnesses are asked to telephone (01642) 301926.
Leap of faith: Peter Urwin, an Endeavour Housing Association development officer, completed a bungee jump at the Rudds Arms, Marton, to raise cash for the national Transplant Sports Association. Peter's jump, on Monday, was sponsored by his employers at Endeavour House in Thornaby.
Guild together: Acklam Townswomen's Guild will meet at the Friends Meeting House, Cambridge Road, Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
CHAMPION CYCLIST: Danny Hart, ten, from Redcar, has won an expert class for 11-year-olds in a BMX national championship competition held in Slough. A member of Britain's BMX squad, he is competing in European championships in Germany next month.
FAMILY APPEAL: Cleveland Police are appealing for relatives of 79-year-old Richard Turner to come forward. The pensioner was found dead at his home in the St George's Bungalows, Grangetown, near Middlesbrough, at the weekend. There are no suspicious circumstances, but family members have been asked to contact the Cleveland Coroner's officer on (01642) 243221.
HOMES OFFERED: Cleve-land Police have had numerous calls from people wanting to give a home to Buster, a pedigree boxer which went five days without food or water guarding the body of its owner, who was found dead at his home in Hartlepool.
