Hamilton Row Black Horse were able to hang on to their second spot in the table after they made a fine recovery to beat the visiting Tow Law New Market A in the decider.
Phil Spencer and Dale Duxfield put the visitors ahead but then Steve Wilkie and Dave Bateson levelled. In the decider the home side's John Christalow beat Stephen English.
Dan's Castle B, the ladies team, also won their match against the Dan's Castle A team in the decider to stay in third place in the table, one point behind Hamilton Row and three behind the leading Tow Law Rose and Crown. Angela Armstrong and Alison Hopps put the ladies ahead but Ian Johnson and Lee Furber equalised. In the decider Emma Jefferson beat Lee Stockdale.
