A woman reported missing from her Darlington home this week has returned home, according to police last night. Natalie Raper, 22, of Northgate, was reported missing by her partner and family on Thursday after she failed to turn up for work.

Scout fair: Heighington Scout group holds a strawberry fair on Friday, June 21, at 7pm, in the gardens of Heighington Hall. Entrance is £1.50 for adults and 80p for senior citizens and children. Proceeds go to Scout funds.
Beaver awards: Five Heighington Beavers, Peter Wiegold, Charlotte Myers, Laura Holmes, Becky Burton and Mary McAneney, received Dam Builder award at the Northumbria area St George's Day parade.
ROYAL INVITATION: The Mayor and Mayoress of Sedgefield have been invited to a golden jubilee garden party in Chelsea. Councillor David Newell will be accompanied by Councillor Lucy Hovvels on Wednesday, July 10.
Music quiz: The Heighington parent and toddler group held a music quiz in the village hall last month and raised £195 for funds.
Floral meeting: Darlington Flower Club meets at 2pm on Wednesday, July 3, at St Cuthbert's church centre, when demonstrator Jean McClure, of Saltburn, will give a talk.
School donation: Darlington and District Soroptimist group members collected pencils and notebooks for two primary schools in Malawi. They have been given to 12 pupils from Polam Hall School who visit the schools this summer.
FESTIVAL DATE: The annual Upper Weardale Music Festival takes place today, at St John's Chapel parish church from 12.30pm. The festival will be followed by a concert in the church at 7.30pm.
ROAD WORKS: Four weeks of roadworks start on Palm Bridge Road, Middleton St George, on Thursday. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
