VOLUNTEERS are needed to take part in the seventh Marie Curie Cancer Care Dublin Dash.
The theme of this year's event is Hollywood, and teams of between two and four will have 24 hours to get from the starting point, at The Old Farmhouse, Darlington, to Dublin.
All the money raised will help fund Marie Curie nursing services in the North-East.
After completing a series of challenges along the way, where each team will be marked on their fancy dress, the forms of transport used, the least expensive route taken - plus a final mystery physical challenge - a winner will be announced.
The event begins on Friday, September 20, and finishes with a ceilidh in Dublin, with a traditional Irish buffet, Dublin Dash 2002 Award Ceremony, and Irish entertainment.
