THREE men appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of a County Durham man.
Wayne Graham King, 29, of Thirlmere Road, his brother John Aaron King, 31, of Keswick Road, and David Noel Wright, 30, of Ellison Road, all Peterlee, appeared before the town's magistrates in connection with the death of Stephen Hunter, 33, whose body was found by police at his Peterlee flat, on Sunday.
A post-mortem examination showed Mr Hunter died from a massive brain haemorrhage.
The men were remanded in custody until next Friday.
