THE Duke of York is in for a busy time when he visits North Yorkshire later this month.
As well as visiting the Great Yorkshire Show, in Harrogate, and opening a new annexe for St Leonard's Hospice, in York, Prince Andrew, above, will travel to Easingwold on Wednesday, July 10.
There, he will open the new training station of the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The complex, in Stillington Road, replaces the outdated one at Ripon and allows firefighters to carry out the additional training activities essential to meet the demands of a modern fire service.
