A WOMAN accused of causing mayhem aboard a packed holiday jet admitted yesterday to having been drunk on board the aircraft.
Care worker Charlotte Davies, 31, pleaded guilty to being a passenger under the influence of alcohol at Newcastle Crown Court.
The incident happened on board the 7.55am flight from Newcastle Airport, on November 16, last year heading for the holiday island of Tenerife.
The 31-year-old, from Almond Drive, Sunderland, was granted conditional bail for the preparation of reports and will be sentenced in two weeks.
