A REPORT has been published on the results of consultation with the public on the future of Arkengarthdale and Swaledale.
The document outlines what local people see as the priorities and the likely challenges the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority is to face in years to come, as well as policies which have been developed to deal with them.
However, the consultation process is not yet complete as residents are again invited to have a say on the way ahead.
"The purpose of this feedback report is two-fold," said area ranger James Lamb.
"Firstly, we want to ensure we have recorded the community's ideas correctly and, secondly, we want to make sure we are clear on the work proposed, so when the final Area Actions Plan is published, we are all ready to turn the proposals into reality.
"The feedback report itself contains literally hundreds of ideas, from proposals to restore walls and barns to plans to tackle riverbank erosion."
Copies of the report can be obtained by calling Sue Rook on (01969) 650456. Comments on the contents must be submitted to the national park authority by Monday, June 24.
