STAFF at Hogg the Builder are getting practice in country pursuits such as horse riding and fishing prior to the Sledmere Country Show at the weekend.
The York housebuilder is sponsoring the show and is expecting to welcome more than 100 customers to the event as well as families from across the region.
The Sledmere Show celebrates all aspects of country living with events such as pony club races, a casting competition , falconry and a dog show.
The show will also provide a venue for the national farriers competition and is designed to appeal to all the family.
Hogg director John Tongue said: "This year's show is going to be better than ever, with the introduction of a range of new events.
"We are delighted to show our support for the countryside by sponsoring the Sledmere Show."
The show, held at Sledmere Deer Park, between Malton and Great Driffield, starts on Sunday, with an opening pageant at midday.
