ORGANISTS from across the district will be heading for Topcliffe this weekend.
The Ripon and Leeds Royal School of Church Music launches its annual Organ Day on Saturday with a chance to play the newly-installed Father Willis organ at St Columba's Church. An exhibition will also tell how it was moved from Sheffield.
The event continues with trips to visit organs at other churches and chapels in Topcliffe, Baldersby St James, Thirsk, Northallerton, Sowerby and Felixkirk and ends back at St Columba's where Matthew Atherton will give a recital on the Father Willis.
All are welcome to attend the performance at about 4.30pm.
