POP divas Destiny's Child left thousands of fans disappointed last year after cancelling their only North-East gig - but they certainly did not do the same again last night.
The talented trio, who postponed their Newcastle gig following the September 11 terrorist attacks, performed in the region's premier music venue.
Sexy and sassy, the three singers gave their fans an extra special performance at Newcastle's Telewest Arena.
Scanty stage outfits mixed with their trademark melodies helped put smiles back on the fans' faces.
Set against the backdrop of huge TV screens, Beyonce, Kelli and Michelle belted out a string of hits.
Fans young and old screamed with delight as the stars opened their set with Independent Woman, the song that shot them to superstardom status.
The girls emerged surrounded by circles of fire, dressed in matching gold lame outfits, and asked fans to draw their hands in the air, and the audience obliged.
It wasn't just the music that impressed. Exhausting dance routines showed that this was a well thought out tour.
Gaggles of teenage girls danced in the aisles, copying their idols on stage.
North-East fans may have had to wait seven extra months to see their favourite stars, but after last night's show, Destiny's Child has been forgiven.
