EAST Durham residents are being given the chance to undergo a personal MOT in a keep healthy campaign.
Free health checks will be available today to coincide with British Heart Week.
The body MOTs are on offer at the Glebe Centre, in Murton, where people will be able to receive cholesterol tests, blood pressure measurements and carbon monoxide readings.
There will also be the opportunity to have a massage, view healthy cooking displays and the chance to try out a modern fitness centre.
A computer programme will also be available, which measures the risk of developing coronary heart disease.
The event is being hosted by Easington Health Promotion and the Murton Health Forum. It will be held between 10am and 2pm. Health Promotion will also provide the free check ups for staff at Orange in Peterlee tomorrow between 10am and 2pm
