JUBILEE celebrations at a hotel have raised £1,061 for the Butterwick Hospice.
Chris Swain and wife Rachel, owners of the Walworth Castle Hotel, Darlington, held a variety of fundraising events.
As well as a street party for the Queen's golden jubilee, the hotel hosted a car boot sale, raffle, and a dinner party. Darlington businesses donated raffle prizes.
Chris Swain, manager of the hotel, said: "We would like to say a big thank you to all the companies who donated prizes for the raffle and all the staff who made the day one to remember."
A cheque was presented to the hospice yesterday
